Problem
Outlook keeps asking for a password.
Symptoms
Repeated credential prompts, "Outlook needs your password" popup, or authentication loops.

Clear cached credentials and re-enter your Microsoft 365 password.

- 1Cancel the prompt and check for a notification banner about multi-factor authentication.
- 2Open Credential Manager and remove any saved entries for office365 or outlook.
