Problem
Printer shows as offline and will not accept print jobs.
Symptoms
"Printer offline" status in Windows, or documents stay stuck in the print queue.
Solution
Restart the print spooler and confirm the printer is connected to the network.
Step-by-step instructions
- 1Confirm the printer is powered on and connected to the network (check the display panel for errors).
- 2Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners, select the printer, and click Open queue.
- 3Cancel any stuck documents in the queue.
- 4Right-click the printer and uncheck "Use Printer Offline" if shown.
- 5Restart the Print Spooler service from Services (services.msc).
- 6Restart the computer and try printing again.
